Recipe: Frozen Berry Popsicles

Posted on June 05, 2014 by Feathers & Tails Admin | 3 Comments

Today we're bringing you the perfect quick and easy treat for a hot summer day. The best thing is, you only need two ingredients and they are healthy ones too! One of the ingredients needed to make these tasty treats is natural yoghurt, which contains calcium and protein. The other is berries, which are packed full of antioxidants.

Frozen Berry Popsicle

  • 300g natural yoghurt
  • 200g berries (we used strawberries and blueberries; you could also use blackberries, raspberries or cranberries)

Combine the yoghurt and berries together in a bowl. Pour into ice cube trays and pop in the freezer. Leave overnight. Pop one out on a hot day and let your dog enjoy a cooling treat. Keep for 1 month in the freezer.

We’d love to see your pups enjoying these treats! So make sure to email us at hello(at)

Remember that this recipe is not a replacement food source for your pup and make sure they are supervised and have access to water. If you are unsure if the ingredients will suit your dog, we recommend you check with your vet.

Hi Emma,
We think using vanilla yoghurt would be fine, it is a treat after all!
We’d love to see a photo if you make them.
